The 1996 movie that brought back horror in the 90’s is making a comeback!
Spyglass Films has been teasing about bringing back the iconic slasher franchise, and now that there are more details it looks to be a promising return.
Discussing Film reports that Scream 5 is in fact on its way, with directors Matt Bettinelli-Olin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) under the helm.
But they’re not alone- the two directors are a part of the collective group Radio Silence. Expect some great ideas from the crew that worked on V/H/S and South Bound. It’s also reported that Kevin Williamson will be involved with production- and in case you forgot, he wrote three of Wes Craven’s Scream films.
So far the details are scarce, but it’s reported that the plot involves a woman returning to her new home to find out who’s been committing a string of vicious crimes…
Will there be a connection to the previous films? A reboot? Or a new chapter? Let us know what you think as Slasher Radio keeps you updated!
