Unsurprisingly, the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting Hollywood, and the world, in a lot of ways. We reported on Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness not long ago and Sam Raimi’s attachment as director. Nothing about production and attached talent has changed so far, but the film’s scheduled release date has been pushed back from May 7, 2021 to November 5, 2021.
Production had not yet started, sources say, which in light of current circumstances could be seen as a good thing. We hope the cast and crew stay safe, and our thoughts go out to everyone experiencing work and life troubles as a result of the virus. We’re with you. Stay healthy. Stay inside.
