Imagine disgusting creatures like Jason or the Xenomorphs as food. Can you do it? If you can’t, then you’re with the majority of common people (especially myself). If you can, then you don’t have to worry about being the only one who does. Scratch Jason out of the question and you’ll see how one writer/cook/franchise fan of Alien, Chris-Rachael Oseland has managed to do just that. Titan Books has announced a very disturbing and appetizing cookbook based on the Alien franchise. With fifty recipes inspired by Alien and its sequels, Alien: The Official Cookbook will introduce terrifying Alien related food with some following the journey of Xenomorph’s life cycle; avocado Xenomorph eggs and chicken face-hugger cordon bleu. Somehow these terrifying Alien monsters don’t sound too bad if you purge every memory of them from your brain. The weirdest thing is that Oseland has managed to keep the disgusting memories of them and turned them into food, creating the recipes found in the book. Your tastebuds will either reward or criticize you for this choice, but one thing’s for sure, you’ll have to try it to see. Make sure to buy the full-color hardback Alien: The Official Cookbook on November 10th, 2020 at a grand price of $34. 95/£24.99.
